Chess Club

Chess classes for children of various ages and levels at Heritage

"Chess is a powerful tool for developing higher order thinking skills, creativity, numerical and verbal aptitudes, and memory. It helps children to build character and strengthen and incorporate important moral values such as Courage, Perseverance, and Honoring others." (http://kqchessclub.com).

The class is taught by one of the instructors from http://kqchessclub.com/our_teachers.html, Mila Finkelshtein, who was Chief Arbiter of many USSR Scholastic Championships, has a lot of teaching experience from former USSR and many years in America.
